These terms apply when you browse Sell My Wheels, submit a listing, use a seller account or contact a seller through the marketplace.

About Sell My Wheels

Sell My Wheels provides a marketplace for cars, vans, bikes, caravans, trailers and other wheeled items. Sellers list items for sale and buyers contact sellers directly. Sell My Wheels does not act as the buyer, seller, broker, insurer, finance provider or vehicle inspector.

Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers are responsible for checking the identity of the seller, the condition and history of any item, ownership documents, finance status, mileage, roadworthiness, insurance and tax requirements before agreeing a purchase.

Seller Responsibilities

Sellers must:

• provide accurate, lawful and up-to-date listing information;
• own the item or have authority to sell it;
• disclose material faults, finance, damage, write-off status or other relevant history;
• use images they are allowed to use;
• respond honestly to buyer enquiries;
• keep account login details secure.

Listings And Review

Listings are checked before publication. We may approve, reject, edit, suspend, expire or remove listings where needed to operate the marketplace, protect users, comply with law or maintain quality. Approval does not mean we have inspected the item or verified every detail.

Seller Plans And Credits

Seller accounts are activated after verified Stripe checkout. Individual plans include 15 listing credits per year and business plans include 40 listing credits per year. New listings and relists use one credit. Credits expire one year after they are issued. Signed-in sellers can buy one-off credit packs when they need more credits. Current prices are shown before checkout.

Payments, Cancellations And Refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Checkout pages show the current price and billing period or one-off purchase amount before purchase. Any cancellation charge or retained payment must be fair and reflect the service provided or costs incurred.

No Sales Commission

Sell My Wheels does not take commission from vehicle sales. Any sale agreement, deposit, inspection, collection, delivery or payment for an item is arranged directly between buyer and seller.

Prohibited Use

You must not use the site to:

• post misleading, fraudulent, unlawful or unsafe listings;
• sell stolen, cloned, encumbered or restricted items;
• harass users or send spam;
• upload malicious code or attempt to bypass security;
• copy, scrape or reuse site content in a way that harms the service.

Availability And Changes

We aim to keep the site available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, update these terms, or introduce additional terms for payments, uploads or messaging.

Liability

We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate listings, failed negotiations, buyer or seller behaviour, vehicle faults, payment disputes or third-party services beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
